KBAS Bookkeeping started working with Josie and her accounting team in 2017. The beauty salon was operating under a franchise model at the time and was subject to their software requirements which changed on several occasions, which meant we had to transition software systems and processes on more than one occasion. Josie was able to exit out of this agreement through the COVID shutdown period and now operates as an independently-owned business.
We now had the opportunity to choose our own systems, processes and software, and it was exciting to go into this with what we already knew was working and what we needed to improve. We continued to work with Xero, and Timely was implemented for booking and staff time and attendance. The software also allowed for a wealth of understanding of what is happening with the business on downtime, repeat bookings and Customer Relationship Management. The salon now operates under management. What Josie has achieved as a young business owner never ceases to amaze me.
