Shutdown

If your office is closing here are the Fair Work rules – Direction to take annual leave during a shut down. In most instances, you need to provide written advice of the shutdown period in advance (Clerks private sector, Hair & Beauty, 4 weeks) but the amount of notice can vary per award (Trades & Construction 2 months). The link above lets you tailor the information for your award. There is a template on FairWork for this notification that you can tailor for your needs – Notice of requirement to take annual leave for close down   If you are shutting down over Christmas and New Year’s just let us know and we will process pays in advance ready for you to upload to the bank and be released on the due date so you can be free of this over the break.

KBAS Bookkeeping office hours

KBAS Bookkeeping office will be closed on Thursday 23^rd December returning after the public holidays on Wednesday 29^th December. We will also be closed Friday 31^st December returning Tuesday 4^th January 2022 after Mondays public holiday. All pay runs that are due on Public holidays will be processed as per FairWorks requirements on the next business day.
