Here at KBAS Bookkeeping, we have recently made the leap and have implemented a VoIP system. This was completely set up by Sunshine Coast Business Solution’s Dan Blunden.
The term VoIP is an acronym for Voice Over Internet Protocol. Simply put, VoIP is a telecommunications technology that enables you to make and receive calls over the internet. Though thanks to Dan, we can do so much more!
When you call us, you will be able to pick your bookkeeper, so getting put on hold and passed around the office is officially a thing of the past! With this new telephony technology, we can also now hold video calls or screen sharing sessions. This means if there is an issue in your Xero file, we can jump straight into a screen sharing session from the phone call, and you can see exactly what we are seeing so we can work out the issue together.
Love it or loath it, working from home is very relevant in these uncertain times, which is another benefit of VoIP. No, we aren’t working from home, but in the event of another lockdown we can continue to provide the level of service that our clients need, while still staying safe. Bernard Salt, a statistician, believes that we will return to the office in 2022 but not in the same way we work now – image attached
In short, we are very excited about pushing the boundaries of communication systems to provide our clients with the best possible service. If you would like to test our new phone system, feel free to call us on (07) 5408 7400. If you need an appointment, you can always book a time that suits everyone here.
